A shoot with Kate Ellery

I had a recent shoot with the lovely Kate Ellery who is signed to IMG in Milan and Paris. She's by no means a new face, she's been and done it all, in a very busy modelling career. It was a chilled out and relaxed shoot, testing out some new camera gear. Having such an experienced model as Kate meant I could just play around and try new things leaving her to model.

Here's a few results from the shoot;

New Publication: "Wild Beauties" - Cotswold Life (May 2011 Issue).

A few weeks back myself, Madame Bink, Stefano Brunesci and Andy Doane left the house at stupid AM to head to the shoot location Aynhoe Park, near Banbury Oxfordshire, where I was shooting an editorial for Cotswold Life Magazine. We me the rest of the team which consisted of the other model, the beautiful Ivory Flame, hair stylist Jay Jessop and Make-up and Clothing from Sophie Chamings and Feva Boutique.

The location was absoultely stunning from the driveway, let alone inside with all of its beautiful decor and amazing quirkly taxidermy including a polar bear, giraffe, lion, birds, a snake and much more...

Here are the Tearsheets from the May 2011 issue of Cotswold Life Magazine;

and some shots that sadly didn't make it into the publication;

7 models - 2 MUA's - 1 assistant and a stylist no show

Whilst recently working in London I spent an extra day to do an agency shoot to get some new studio images for my book. Nevs sent me one male model and six female models for the shoot, which was staggered through the day.

The Team was as follows;

Models:

NiƱo

MUA's:

Stylist: No Showed

Assistant: Daniel Hubbert

It was a 9am arrival at the studio, and for once everything was going right and we were almost bang on time. The day didn't begin without concerns though, due to the stylist ignoring texts and calls I was 99% sure she was going to no show on the shoot, and I was correct but we got on with the day and all was not lost. Big thank you to all those who turned up and worked really hard.

Here's some photos;

Inspiration of the month: Abbey Lee Kershaw for Vogue Russia April 2011 by Hedi Slimane

Inspiration of the month:

I'm big into my black and white fashion shots at the moment and I'm really into a little leather, harness and chain action, not to mention a nice bit of tailoring; so this editorial gives me lots of inspiration for upcoming projects.

Hope you've all had a nice weekend, and are pampering your mums for mothers day.
