London Fashion Week is here...

If there's a buzz around Internet land at the moment it's because it's London Fashion week, and everyone is ready for shows, parties and none stop busy. If you want to see who is on and when, be sure to check out the Show Schedule.

I sadly couldn't make it to any of the parties as I'm so busy right now before my ever closer travels to Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong. I cannot wait to get on the plane and enjoy a few weeks of relaxation away from work and the UK.

Latex goodness from Lady Lucie

It doesn't surprise me that latex is becoming an ever increasingly popular and 'in fashion' item at this moment in time. The way that it clings to the body creating flowing shapes and contours creates the most beautiful images.

Lady Lucie had dropped Binkertson-HQ an email to see if we'd be able to shoot a new dress for launch on her luscious website. I think Madame Bink was correct in saying it was one of the quickest turn around we'd had. With the photos and editing being completed within 24 hours Lucie was able to launch her dress to the world in record time. 

You can see some images of the beautiful dress on the website. I'm looking forward to pitching some ideas to Lucie soon for some editorials featuring some of her wonderful garments, mixed with some pieces from some other very exciting designers.

Some images of the ever so tall lady Issy

I recently had the pleasure of working with a model that I stumbled upon on Modelmayhem. At 6' 1" and having an epic afro, I knew that I had to take her photo. Her portfolio was very diverse, ranging from beautiful art nudes shot by Christian Hough to editorial fashion by Ian Cole.

We'd decided to shoot some high key nude work and some location fashion shots. It didn't take long for Issy to find her catalogue of poses and we got through all of our ideas in record time. I can definitely recommend Issy to anyone looking for a model capable of shooting Nude to Fashion.  

In other news my editorial that was shot with Stefanie St Clair and Lyndsey Harrison with clothing by Harold Kensington has been accepted by a magazine so it shouldn't be too long before I've got the tear-sheets to share from that.
